To Note: Arbey Harris Salveron

Just after I sit in front of this monitor, your face just appeared in my mind. haha and you're next.

So, you're featured here huh?! Hahaha. But kidding aside, i know I've told you enough how much our friendshp means to me-how you personally mean to me. I think we are better friends now than we were back then. I'm just so great I used my heart to deal with you and got this chance to see how our friendship could be better again through time.

I was really sorry for all the things I've told you, I mean those! Hahaha. Really, I mean everything. But of course, I'm better now - I'm not GETTING BETTER anymore but I'm ALREADY BETTER. We are better off this way, I believe.

Sydkik, I know you are also sorry for everything. I cant handcount how many times you tell me that. I just don't know if it's because you have hurt me or everything about us is REALLY over. Whatever it is, I'm okey with it. I'm okey now, I've already forgotten every single thing. I'm okey with us being JUST FRIENDS forever. That's totally and heartily acceptable:)

Before I settle this down and put these things to the past, I really wanted to thank you.Thank you for everything you did offer to me:)) Its just so amazing that we became sydkik, strangers, lovers, strangers again and eventually back to being sydkik for real. Ex-lovers being the closest friends? Haha That's epic, you know?

Basta, happy kaayo kaayo kaayo ko na OKAY na ta, like, really. Congratulations kay R.N. na ka! As what you've said, I quote: "Nagmana tayo sa isa't - isa", end quote. I hope we'd see each other again. Ayaw kaulaw kay R.N. na ka. <3

Kung mamiss na ko ang Laboratory High school kay mamiss pud tika.:(( hahaha Oa noh? :D Maingon na jud ni nako: Iinvite jud ko sa imong kasal ha? :)) VERY close naman gud ta karon.

Random thoughts of the day.

Thoughts inside the bathroom, while walking to the reveiw center, inside the review center and while alone at lunch. I have to write these on paper to make sure I'll remember all of it :)

~We don't fall inlove with every people we meet. So, when you feel that magic, don't let it slip away.:)

~It's okay to be in that situation wherein you know you'll regret later. What's not okay is to have what if's before you go to bed.

~True happiness is easy to find. Follow the desire of your heart.

~When you're grown up, you will realize that one of the best remedy to a broken heart is way back home.

~Greatness doesn't come along with success.

~Easy come, easy go. Not that true. Sometimes, it's just all about how a good keeper you are.

~Stars shine not because they glow but because you already know they have to shine for them to be called stars.

~To be stuck in a not so good plot would remind you how beautiful life is.

~Your emotions bring out the best in you.

~Why spend time with things that aren't your priority in the first place? Stay focus.

~We don't really do something for others. At the end of the day, realization will come that we actually do it to gratify ourselves - that is to make someone happy.

Congrats, RNs!:)

And so the princess woke up. Tsk. This must be brought by some pressure mixing in the air. 98% of my friends passed the July PNLE 2011. I'm so happy for them. Actually, they're all deserving for it.:) My sydkik was the very first person to text me that he's already an R.N.:) All I can say is, take good care of that license by taking extra good care of your patients.

Bleh neri, I know it must be very difficult for you. We are just here if you're ready to talk. You can still make it on December. Allah, has made things with logical purpose. In Allah's time, you can make it.:)

DOODLE IT.

I write. A lot. I love to write nonsense things. Writing comes next to my talking and eating. I talk fast, I think slow, I write no sense. I usually doodle in the middle of a boring class, at the peak of my thinking on a head-wrecking exam, while waiting for a friend inside a fast food chain, while talking to a friend on the phone or when it's raining outside and I'm doing nothing.

I grabbed those boxes under my bed and found my notes way back in college. I was smiling all the time while scanning them because I realize, when you are young, you tend to be stupid and harsh and frank with your thoughts. Some of the thoughts were still clear to me why I wrote them, but others were JUST PLAIN STUPID, I could even kill myself if I'd repeat to write them. These notes show my young, sweet, innocent yet harsh thoughts. Haha. They all have respective dates. That's a rule of thumb when I doodle, it should have the date when it was written:))

I ♥ Mom

Hi momsy! I am so sorry this post is late. Blogger was on its maintenance these past few days. Thus, I cant post anything. Well, I know you won't see this post and so is pop but I want the whole world to know how much I love both of you.

'Mi, Happy happy birthday! :)) I love you always and forever. You may not know it but you were my first best girlfriend. Thank you for being a responsible and great mom for all of us. I admit, I'm not a momma's girl. It's not because we're not close or you're not sweet or I don't love you as much but nevertheless, I love you with all of me - no inhibitions.

We may argue about a lot of things. May it be about what I'm wearing, my hobbies, my likes, my favorite color, my favorite food and even about the man I wanted to marry (LOL) but I do appreciate all of those arguments. They made me thought of you as a WONDERFUL mom. How could a petite woman like you think of big things like those? Hahaha

"How could a petite woman like you think of big things like those?" - hahaha If you could just read this, I'm sure, I'd be dead. :)) But I would give a brief and good answer about that. It's because you are brilliant and marvelous. You always think of our welfare - a lot more, no less. Your love is the best example of selfless love :)

I hope I'm doing well in this letter, 'mi. Thank you for everything. Everything is such a big word, I know. Thank you for letting me feel that I can trust the world, that I can be great in my own simple ways and that I can have my next bestest friend in you.♥

My favorite conversation with you was that one afternoon in the kitchen. We talked about everything - my past, my present and future life. I'm soo happy that you are open to the idea of me having a boyfriend. Hahaha It's the start of an open relationship with you and pop. *dream come true*

I love you 'mi! You mean the world to me - to everyone of us.

P.S. And by the way, Pop may have hurt you enough for you to hate him but I can feel it. He loves you more than you love him. mwa! :)

WAS HUNGRY.

I was at SM today the whole day. Hungry, freezing but learning a lot. I'd still be at SM tomorrow until Sunday, that's tiring :(. But I have my determination and goals back! They're mine again. :D

Allah bless,  future R.N. ♥

I want you back :(

I'M GOING NOWHERE

August 13, 2011

I woke up late. Crap! I realized I have my review! I can be late but I chose to be absent. You know, I hate grand entrances. Haaay, another because-of-late absence. My body clock's going somewhere else. I slept 4am and usually woke up 2-3pm. I don't know what's happening. Maybe because of Ramadhan or I'm preoccupied or anxious or I want to escape from something or whatever.

I'm lost. Yea. Not literally lost. My goals and determination are the things I know I lose. I'm not a goal oriented person and I admit that but board exam is something else. This is my ultimate goal (well, aside from finding my one true love. I kid), the very best thing I wanted to achieve, so far. If only I could make this thing certain, I'd do. I know I just have to believe that something good..uhm, no. Let's rephrase it. I know I just have to believe that something BEST will happen and It will. In Allah's will, I would be a registered nurse.

But I know I have to work hard for it. I have to exert effort to make it into reality. I want my goals back! I badly needed my determination to wrap the entire me. Phuleeease! I promise, the next time you come back, your presence would be taken in great account.

Dear xejjy,

Do good in everything. Don't let your dreams turn into waste. You're halfway there. Focus. Organize your thoughts. Work your priorities. And while doing those things make sure you still have time to pray, enjoy and do things that make you feel better and healthy.

Love,
Your ego

These past few days, I wrote a lot and i don't usually do long writings in consecutive days. I think, this is another coping mechanism to keep myself sane. Bad.

Happy Birthday Pop!

Hi there pop! Happy Birthday! I don't have to put you in my 'TO NOTE LIST' for you to know you are special. You should know by now that you are indeed special. Didn't I tell you? You are the most special man in my life. I may not be showy enough for you to feel that but that's true.

I grew up wishing we could be bestfriends but you got super strict each day I'm afraid to even smile at you. But oh! I just forgot all of those. You seem to be all better now. Haha. You're way better now, I may say. I understand that you want me to grow up independent, smart, brave and staying away from guys. Haha. You should know best than everyone else. I know you want to save me from pain and mishaps of life that's why I was not allowed to have a boyfriend at an early stage. And I do appreciate that now.

One best conversation I had with you was when you gave me your blessing to have a boyfriend. I was really happy that day that my heart could no longer keep my emotions, I have to hug my busmate kissy:). And to return the favor, I promise to find someone who will take good care of my heart.

You may not be a good husband to my mom (you know my heart crushed everytime you two don't get along well). You may have hurt her but you know why she still stays? Because you've been the best father to her children - us.

Happy birthday, abi! We love you always and forever! :))

Magpaka-sporty naman tayo minsan

Badminton. Badminton. Badminton. Badminton. Badminton.

Oo.

Oo.

Tsaaaadaang! this is my first post about my life's special people. :) they would be randomly posted and every person or group will have a uhm, picture personally chosen by me. Hahaha. I don't wanna be accused of stealing personal property so rest assured that I would ask for your permission. :)

My so much loved person/people in my life is my family (well, I guess we're all in the same wavelength with regards to this). But this post will not be for them. They'll have that special moment, in time. :D

This write -up is for my spies girls.

Goodness. Greatness. Loveliness.

You guys, are my marvelous, lovely lifetime girlfriends. :)) I just know we we have each other through good times and bad times. I've shared more than half of my life with you and you know I'd me more grateful to share my lifetime with all of you (Of course, aside from my better half). ♥

You are all incomparable. We've seen each other grow, cry, laugh, hurt, got dumped, got better and heal every bruises we had. :)) Those bruises weren't really painful when I am with you. Our laughter and smiles may fade but the joy they create in our hearts will be forever cherished.

I love you all. I know, you deserve more than this but I'm running out of time. hahaha ♥

Being me is no fun. :)

WARNING: LONG POST AHEAD.

NO. VERY LONG POST AHEAD.

It's always been my pride to be a barrio kid. I grew up in a small community somewhere in Gen. SK Pendatun. We call it Badak (I know, nobody knows it :D). Life was pretty simple way back then. We owned a small sari - sari store and between veggies and processed food, veggies were much favored. I've been in that community for 5 years. Had my first pre-school education there. Got and lost my first plastic doll there. I can still remember how cheap-looking my first doll was. It was color beige, has red-orange hair color in baby china haircut. It was a bride doll holding a boquet of red roses with matching red boots. HAHAHA!

Momsy had to finish college and popsy was just plain supportive so we changed location. We lived in Granny's side. Lola still supported umi's (that's how I called mom) education even if she has already 2 kids. My mom graduated in college when I was in grade 1 and my 'lil bro was just in pre-school. That graduation brought changes. My mom had to work and so was my pop. So, they were compelled to get a kasambahay (we aren't allowed to address them katulong or yaya. We grew up believing those were such bad words).Of course, I'm not used to someone else taking care of me other than my family, so I believed my own self didn't want change. Now, I call that resistance. :) I was maldita enough for our kasambahay to be changed every year. For almost 20 years, we got 8 kasambahays already. HAHAHA! My personal favorites were ate Rachma and Ate Baby. Ate Racha has always something good to tell and Ate Baby is pretty and so was her handwriting :D. Ate Baby's always making sure I look good when I'm off to school.

I spent my elementary years at a public school. Flag ceremony and exercise were my hatest activities every weekdays. Recess was hell. I can't get what I wanted to eat without getting my shoes dirty. My school was big enough to cater almost 6 thousand students, 2 small lakes, 1 wide oval with mango tree all over the sides. I was not a straight A student nor ever been to first section but one thing I can be proud of was that I WAS an orator. Yea. Like I joined competitions. And because my mom has work and so was pop, they never got the chance to see me on stage. :( That was sad. I only got my adviser who gave me support. Drama much, I know. They also attended PTA meetings very seldom, most of the time it's just me who jot down notes and told them how the meeting went. That showed me being responsible ever since :D.

My favorite attire then was bestida. I don't own pants those days. HAHAHA! Girly me. My bestfriend in elementary was my mortal enemy. Her kuya was her worst hero (hahaha!I'm telling you besty, I was never shaken). I was a pretty bully though my parents are too strict when it comes to manner and being upright. So, to end my elementary days, I graduated with an award. LOL. OMG. haha! This would be a laughtrip. The award was PERFECT ATTENDANCE (How great! No absences for 6 years).

My parents' expectations of me were/are still high. I had to pass the entrance examination of the most prestigious secondary school in cotabato. That was how they apprised my existence as their daughter during those times. I did understand that. My mom and pop do not settle for mediocrity, they want what's best, which apparently I didn't inherit. I prayed and prayed and prayed and prayed 'till I can pray no more because I passed the exam. Well, yea. I passed and I'm more than proud than my parents were because out of  us three in the classroom who got the chance to took the exam, ehem.. I'm the ONLY one who passed. Sorry but I have to brag this just not to spoil the perfect attendance. LOL.

My HS life made me believe that HS is one of the best major years in one's life. Everybody got the chance to be a teenager but not everyone got the privilege to act like one. I have strict parents, firm house rules. I was a selfish teen.I created my own innocent world (definitely not a rebel). I never let any member of my family to get in. I'm such a narrow minded kid with high ambitions. Ambitions that I would never realize without my parents. Nevertheless, my HS life was vibrantly lived. My only regret was not seeing HS as a training ground. I'm thinking of training ground for my not - so - talented self. Though I did cheer dancing (just the thought of it makes me want to forget myself), be an organization's officer, event organizer (those were not grande) and even being a bench girl.. Err AND EVEN aren't the perfect words, BUT BEING a bench girl was my top role during HS. You know benchgirl? That special someone who gives WATER AND ENCOURAGEMENT to the players during Intramurals or tournament. Lol. Unfortunate me. Those minor roles I had like cheerdancing, being an officer, a frustrated writer, all those things were just for the love of grades.

I was not a born singer nor a growing up singer. I'm a trying hard singer, actually. I have a.. let's consider good voice. Uh huh, I have a good voice but I don't really have the talent. Haha. Hope you get me. And to give justice to the words VIBRANTLY LIVED, in HS was where Spies girls started. They are my wonderful circle of friends. If I didn't meet them along the way, I'd never be this contented with friends.

Some people - special people made me forget my parents aren't lenient. Once, twice, thrice, I went home late (6pm in Cotabato is too late) and met my mother's hurtful words and my lola's first and last slap. LOL.

And some other special people made me realize that love is all about taking risks because in playing safe it hurts even more.

4 years was over.

And then another 4 years passed quickly.

I thought i'm gonna spend that another 4 years with same people. I was wrong- I spent that another 4 years with strangers. Pop's decision was final. Okey. Fine.I could not disagree more. College was different. I spent my life with people who gave me reasons to be worthy of every single feeling i have for them.

I thought of lola as my personal hero - my sweet loving hero. I think my family is greatest any family could not be greater than us. The selfish, narrow minded teen is now a grown up kid, still being so ambitious and learning new and wonderful things each day.

I've met new people - people I never thought of loving but I did. Marilyn Pitogo, my first ever friend here in Davao. I met her during enrollment and we just got connected not knowing we're classmates. Ralph, my special friend who made me feel and that an alien like me deserves a best bud. My classmates RP K and 11, who were wonderful enough to consider me by not bringing any pork recipes/food during our outings. My boardmates, who treated me as a family, who appreciate and see me as a competent person, you are all great.

People in my HS life were nowhere to be found. They were busy making the best out of their lives. I only had one person left and that's Sam. Others were busy making their life's a success while Sam and me choose to became a part of each other's best and worst times.

Chikadoras gladly meet me halfway. They are the great college girlfriends ever! They are special in their own ordinary way. Kantobols came and chikabols was formed. We are like potpourri, pinaganda ng panahon. We complement each other to make that perfect friendship worth keeping for a lifetime. Then just before graduation, Ampules entered the scene. Ampules are my basketball buddy. LOL. No, I don't play basketball with them. I just cheer for them :D They're one of the best examples of perfectly combined people :))

I'm happy and sad being away from home. Happy to think that I'm now partially independent, became open - minded (you know, when you're with different people, your perception of some things change) and learned that some things aren't on the same corner :) I'm sad.. no, no, no, I WAS sad because I believed that being at home is finding yourself in its most comfortable state :D
